Policies for Orders and Returns

Policies:

Customers can place orders for freshly roasted-to-order gourmet coffee from OurGourmetCoffee.com on our web site's secure order form page. This method is the one used for 99(+) per cent of orders. If you cannot place your order online, then complete the information on the order form and print it. Do not submit the order online; instead, mail or fax your order to OurGourmetCoffee.com's Fax number or address listed on the Contact Us page. If you pay for your faxed or mailed order with a check or money order instead of a credit or debit card, your order may take up to several days longer to clear approval and be authorized for processing (see below). We do not keep your financial information on file; for further information, see the Statement of Privacy on our Privacy Policy page.

All sales are paid in US dollars with approved credit/debit card, check, or money order; and are shipped F.O.B. origin from OurGourmetCoffee.com's roasting plant in Pompano Beach, FL. Purchases made with an approved credit/debit card are authorized usually within 24 hours from the time the customer places the order online. Once authorized, orders are promptly processed and shipped. Purchases paid with check or money order should be mailed to the office of OurGourmetCoffee.com listed on the Contact Us page. The order will be processed and shipped once the check or money order has cleared and the funds deposited in OurGourmetCoffee.com's account. We reserve the right to refuse any order, especially an order we deem to be questionable, suspicious, or apparently fraudulent. Any funds from a refused order that have cleared and are received by OurGourmetCoffee.com will be refunded promptly to the payer's account.

OurGourmetCoffee.com processes approved product orders promptly for roasting, bagging, and shipment. Orders are completed usually within 1 to 2 business days from receipt of customer's authorized order (flavored coffee sometimes requires an extra day). Our objective is to get your freshly roasted-to order specialty coffee shipped to you as soon as we can do so, while maintaining excellent quality of product and service.

All product shipped is convection roasted™ fresh, packed in Fresh Seal bags, and shipped once the customer's approved order has been placed with OurGourmetCoffee.com. All product ships with the label Shalina Gourmet Coffee®, the trademark for the patented and trademarked coffee roasting process owned by Specialty Coffee Roasters.

Returns:

If your coffee sustained damage in shipment, contact the carrier immediately and copy OurGourmetCoffee.com on any communication with them. The carrier is responsible for any damage (the cost of the product and the shipping charge) they cause, so keep any damaged (crushed, torn, etc.) shipping boxes and coffee bags for them to inspect. Our Gourmet Coffee will arrange with you to reship the damaged portion of your order promptly.

We make every effort to provide you with the highest quality gourmet coffee by convection roasting™ top grade specialty coffee fresh when you order and priority shipping it to you right away. Should you not be satisfied with any of the coffee you purchased from us, contact OurGourmetCoffee.com within 15 days of the delivery date for your order and arrange to return it to us for a full refund of your purchase price. If you prefer to replace the coffee you find unsatisfactory with a different coffee selection, we will discuss that when you contact us. Just contact us for return instructions and authorization, and please take a moment and tell us why you did not find the coffee satisfactory. 

Authorization is required; returns will not be accepted without authorization from OurGourmetCoffee.com. Returns are not authorized or accepted after 15 days from the delivery date.  Both the USPS Priority Mail and the Ground Shipping service (FedEx or UPS) provide a confirmed delivery date to be used as the official date your order was delivered. Limit of up to two (2) pounds per order will be eligible to be returned for refund or replacement. Returns are very rare, less than a handful in over 18 years of our roaster's operations. We do not expect you will ever have to use this provision, we just thought you would like to know what our policy is.

Just one more thing, you should know if you are satisfied with the coffee you purchased before you've consumed half the bag, so be fair with us and we will be more than fair with you. Since shipping charges are a straight cost pass through, we cannot refund those. Return shipping cost will be paid by the customer.
