Kenya Fancy AA
Kenya lies to the south of Ethiopia, yet coffee was not cultivated there until the end of the nineteenth century when French monks planted Arabica coffee trees. Kenyan coffee is known for its agreeable aroma, rich flavor, and full body. The Kenya Fancy AA from Our Gourmet Coffee comes from only top choice Arabica gourmet beans grown at altitudes of 6000 to 7000 feet on small farms in the highland plateau growing regions near Mt. Kenya. These beans are the highest quality AA in size, and further graded as Fancy, to yield a true gourmet coffee made with Kenya's finest specialty coffee beans (rarer than the more common Kenya AA). We convection roast™ to order for an intense aroma and flavor that is rich and sweet with citrus and floral hints, along with a full body, and clean, tangy acidity with a winey finish.
