Brazil produces a relatively small amount of Arabica coffee, the best grade specialty coffee is Brazilian Santos Bourbon. Grown in the highlands of Sao Paulo state from the bourbon variety of Arabica coffee plant, and shipped through the port of Santos; Santos Bourbon refers to the higher quality beans produced in the first four years of the coffee plant's productive life.
